Idaho Office of Broadband Update: September 15, 2025
On behalf of the Idaho Broadband Advisory Board and the Idaho Office of Broadband, it is with great pleasure that the State has the following BEAD Program update to provide.
As of today, drafts of the State’s BEAD Final Proposal, Provisional Awardees, Subgrant Agreement and other associated materials are posted on Link Up Idaho and can be viewed here. There is a 7-calendar day public comment period that closes on Monday, 9/22/25 @ 12pm MT. Public comments can be submitted online here.
Based on current provisional awards, the State’s technology mix is approximately:
- 42% Fiber
- 17% Fixed Wireless
- 16% Mixed (Fiber & Fixed Wireless)
- 25% LEO
The State looks forward to working with provisional subgrantees and impacted communities as we continue to strive towards bridging Idaho’s digital divide.
