Idaho Office of Broadband Update: November 2025

On behalf of the Idaho Broadband Advisory Board (IBAB) and the Idaho Office of Broadband (IOB), please see a new update below.

Idaho BEAD Program

Drafts of the State’s BEAD Final Proposal, Provisional Awardees, Subgrantee Agreement and other associated materials, as submitted to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on 9.25.25, are posted on Link Up Idaho and can be reviewed here. Since submission to NTIA, the IOB has gone through multiple rounds of curing and has worked directly with the provisional awardees. Once NTIA approves the State’s Final Proposal, all documents and materials online will be updated.

The approval process comprises multiple review levels within the U.S. Department of Commerce/NTIA including the Policy Review Team, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Legal Review Team.

The State looks forward to working with provisional awardees on the Idaho BEAD Subgrantee Agreement as this is the next significant step in the BEAD process. Please submit any comments, edits or suggestions regarding the Subgrantee Agreement to IdahoBEAD@mbakerintl.com
